Science / project plan

GNET consists of 58 permanent GNSS stations placed on bedropck in the non-ice covered perimeter of Greenland. GNET was established during IPY with the scientif aim to monitor global climate change by measuring bedrock response to variotions in the mass of the Inland Ice. GNET is a part of the national geodetic infrastructure financed and maintained by the Danish Government represented by Agency for Data Supply and Efficiency who is the mapping authority in the Kingdom of Denmark. GNET also support the international scientific c ummunity within climate change, glaciology and geophysics in general. US National Science Foundation is a co-financing partner. DTU Space use GNET for scientific projects, leads the operational team and participate in the governance of GNET.
